An interactive discussion on how a EU-funded European Reference Network on communicable diseases can advance the elimination of hepatitis, where we will address questions such as what are the learnings from existing European reference networks; how can progress on hepatitis elimination be assessed to ensure the EU-funded network on communicable diseases is a good investment; and how should this network relate to other EU initiatives, such as the EU Health Data Space or Europe’s Beating Cancer Plan, while tying it with the UN UHC Declaration.

On 4th December 2018, members of the ACHIEVE coalition gathered in the European Parliament with policy makers and representatives from European and global agencies to discuss what the next EU legislature can do to help viral hepatitis elimination become a reality in Europe by 2030.
